An international group of 15 product department members from Delivery Hero, a global quick commerce company based in Berlin, got on their game in the city center. With team members arriving from as far as Singapore for a team day in Berlin, they aimed to explore and enjoy themselves. Some of them had just settled in Berlin, but even after two years of living there, they still had much to explore.
They set out on a slightly rainy day, but a few drops didn't deter them from giving their best performance. Regardless of the wet grass, they courageously participated in the barefoot walking challenge!
The team, primarily in their 20s and 30s, exuded the energy and positive spirit typical of a vibrant young group. They played competitively yet healthily, committing to every point while understanding that the ultimate goal was to enjoy the game, not merely to defeat other teams.
They also exhibited the traits of a successful team. The critical evaluation of their submissions by the Game Host on that day served as a motivation. When their challenge submission was rejected, they were not disheartened. Instead, they promptly submitted a new, more innovative version of their challenge solution.
Unsurprisingly, the three teams they formed all scored highly. The winning team, suitably called “Flash”, achieved 87 points, just slightly ahead of the second team, “Carrot Cake” with 85 points, and the third team, “Monsters”, scored 78 points. With an average of 83 points per team, they set the record for the best overall team performance in the Urban Challenger Game!
We congratulate the team on their stellar performance. Given their attitude, we are confident they will accomplish great things in their future endeavors, all while maintaining the level of enjoyment we experienced with them on that day.
