Fashion, Fun & Fierce Competition: About You Takes on Urban Challenger

The competition was fierce, with multiple teams scoring above 90 points and "The Winners" reaching an impressive 112 points, just shy of Hamburg's record.

Company outing, scavenger hunt Leipzig. Found the Mephisto and Faust figures at Auerbach's Cellar. Goethe studied here, which explains a lot. Bought Leipziger Lerchen at the bakery, the backstory is remarkable: once a real songbird, after hunting ban a sweet replacement of shortcrust and marzipan. Probably tastes better than the bird. At the weekly market found regional vegetables, tried a Bachtaler, Bach was Thomaskantor here. The Fischer Art facades are an effective mood lifter. Crossed one of the 450 bridges, surprisingly many for an inland city. Said "hello" in Saxon dialect. Was understood. 73 points. Leipzig is one of Germany's most underrated cities.

Our Christmas party was a scavenger hunt through Leipzig this year and it was SO good! At Auerbach's Cellar we stood in front of Mephisto and Faust and acted out the scene, with Nina playing Mephisto and being SO convincing that tourists started clapping! Then tried the Leipziger Lerchen, this pastry that used to be an actual songbird until hunting was banned and a baker invented the sweet replacement, FASCINATING! The Fischer Art facades in the city center are so colorful, it looks like a picture book. At the weekly market then mulled wine and Bachtaler, the Bach pastry. 84 points and the most beautiful Christmas party we've ever had!

Orientierungslos (directionless) we're called and the city rally through Leipzig confirmed that because we got INSTANTLY lost, but honestly that wasn't bad because we accidentally walked past the Fischer Art facades, these colorful murals, and Tim started sketching a figure even though we were supposed to be heading to Auerbach's Cellar. There are Mephisto and Faust bronze figures and we were supposed to do something with Goethe, and nobody knew what, so we improvised. The Leipziger Lerchen at the bakery, those are little pastries with marzipan, and the name comes from the fact that real larks used to be eaten until it was banned, FOR REAL. Tried saying something in Saxon dialect, nobody understood us. 65 points, directionless but happy.
