We are currently on an incredibly exciting journey! Our startup Urban Challenger has the unique opportunity to appear before millions of viewers. Yes, you read that right – we will be guests on the well-known TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen" next Monday!
How it all started
When we started Urban Challenger over seven years ago, our vision was clear: to enable people to discover their cities in a completely new, interactive, and fun way. With every challenge mastered, every story of magical encounters, and every smile we've seen on our players' faces since then, we knew we had created something special. Urban Challenger is not just a game, it's a movement that brings people closer to their cities and fellow citizens.
From idea to TV show
Since the founding of Urban Challenger, it has been an exciting adventure. However, we have also experienced difficult times, such as when the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic caused all bookings to fall away. Now, as we step onto the stage of "Die Höhle der Löwen," this moment feels a little surreal. The excitement is palpable, and we are curious to see the response that Urban Challenger will receive from such a broad audience. We have worked incredibly hard to present our game in the best possible way, and we are proud to offer not only our app but also our new card game, freshly printed.
What can you expect in the show?
Without giving too much away, you can look forward to a passionate presentation and an extremely thrilling negotiation. We will, of course, do one of our challenges with the Löwen, and they will challenge us in return. To find out how Daniel and Simon fare with the lions, tune in to VOX on Monday at 8:15 pm.
