What would the city be without its trees? Find a special tree from our list. They have been declared natural monuments because they are particularly important for the cityscape.
Often, chestnut trees are found in the beer gardens in Munich. The reason for this is that the chestnut trees with their large leaves provide a lot of shade. This was particularly important in times when houses and beer cellars could not be cooled. The chestnut trees that were planted back then have now become large, mighty trees.
Take a picture of the team with a tree from the list, or alternatively in front of a chestnut tree in a beer garden. Pause for a moment underneath the tree.
